What is Survival School?
You've walked through the Wild at Heart Retreat, and now you're ready for something deeper—something that meets the demands of the hour we're living in.
Wild at Heart Survival School is a 3-day advanced retreat designed for men who are looking to go beyond initiation and dive into a life of radical discipleship.
Led by John Eldredge and his team through a series of curated video sessions, this event invites you to experience powerful teaching, guided reflections, and transformative prayer—all within the safety and camaraderie of a group of men who are seeking more.
Format of the event
Surrounded by nature, the event centres around powerful video sessions, interactive conversations with men in New Zealand, and a guided rhythm of engagement, reflection, and relationship.
Who will be facilitating the retreat?
Rob Porter – Rob is a facilitator (a guide) for Become Good Soil events around the globe and is a close partner and ambassador for the Wild At Heart team in Colorado. Rob has been walking closely with men for decades and has recently founded Let’s Keep Rising, a global platform that is pursuing the hearts of men.
Philip Kelsey – Philip has been tracking the Wild at Heart message for more than 15 years and is also a facilitator for Become Good Soil (inc UK Intensive 2025 and The Grove, a men's deeper discipleship community). A follower of Jesus since the late 1978.

Costs
We've done our best to keep the registration fee as low as we can at $320 NZD, however, if the registration fee would prevent you from being able to attend, please contact us directly at: letskeeprising@gmail.com. We do not want finances to stand in any man's way of being able to attend.
Costs are as follows:
$320 per person
Included: This gets you everything you will need once you arrive - all meals, materials, facilities and a place to rest your head for 3 nights.
We are asking for the full amount to be paid upfront, as spaces are limited and we need to make a financial commitment to the Retreat Centre. That said, if something comes up after paying that prevents your attendance, we will do our best to refund the costs.
We encourage you to prayerfully be all in from day one.
